Take the challenge! Read 100 books before you graduate from high school. For students in grades 6-12.
What is 100 Books Before College?
100 Books Before College is a reading incentive program for middle- and high-schoolers. Reading improves your vocabulary and test scores. Plus, reading prepares you for life after high school while helping you become a more creative, well-rounded person. A valid public library card to any Illinois library is all that is needed to enroll in the program.

What books can I read?
You can read any book you want. Audiobooks, graphic novels and manga also count. However, we encourage all readers to read something that they normally would not read, such as a different genre or something higher in reading level. For a list of book recommendations, please click on the "recommended reading list" icon above.
